- Receive an instant booking confirmation via email
- Click ‘Yes’ if you’d like to add your appointment to your email calendar
- Receive an email / text reminder ahead of your call
- Find a quiet, private space for you to be present for the call free from distractions
- Consider using earphones to help make your call more private and comfortable
- Know that it’s normal for anyone to feel anticipation before their first session. This therapy is designed to be like a light-hearted, casual conversation so there is no pressure required
- We will call you on the date and time you’ve booked from a private number

Our Online Calendar powered by Google will automatically adjust to your local time zone wherever you are in Australia, so the session time that you book is the time you will receive our call, wherever you are in Australia.
Rebooking another session
We don’t issue requirements, expectations or standards around how many sessions to have. That’s up to you for as long as the therapy is helpful to you.
After you’ve had your first 1hr session as a new client, you can choose options for follow up and support. Choose what will be most useful for you at the time.
- 20 mins for a brief call as needed in the moment
- 40 mins if you would like a bit more time, or
- 1 hr for a more detailed follow up.
Rescheduling your session
It’s free to reschedule your session online. There are a few options.
1. Click ‘No’ or ‘Decline’ in your email calendar invitation to let us know. Then, check our Online Calendar for alternative available appointments. Once you’ve decided on your preferred date and time to reschedule, get in touch with us to request a reschedule. You can ‘propose a new time’ in your email calendar invitation or reply email us in your calendar invitation with a message requesting your alternative date and time.
2. Alternatively, simply click ‘Request Reschedule’ below to submit your request and preferred alternative date and time in our online Contact Form.
Cancelling your session
Life happens and things pop up sometimes, that’s why you can reschedule your appointment online for free, with no questions asked. We understand if you’re unsure about phone counselling or Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. Remember, you booked because you seek relief from what you’ve been facing, so it would be better to just give it a try, there’s hope for everyone, including you.
If you decide to request a cancellation and not reschedule, you’ll receive a refund minus a $25 fee to cover preserving your time slot and administrative costs. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to process. Completed sessions cannot be refunded.
